TWO postdoctoral positions Department of Physiology and Pharmacy

A post doc position is for one year with possibility to extend with one year*

One *position* will be in a project aimed to identify, clone and characterize a novel enzyme system in adipose tissue responsible for reduction of drugs. The work includes cloning of candidate genes, heterologous expression and enzymatic analyses. The other project aims to evaluate the regulation and functional consequences of a variant cytochrome P450 gene of importance for metabolism of endogenous substances. The work includes immunohistochemistr y, metabonomics, molecular biology and

A strong background in molecular biology is an advantage for both positions. Knowledge in neurobiology is advantageous for the second *position*. A *post * *doc* *position* is for one year with possibility to extend with one year.
