The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Physics and has background in solid-state physics or physical metallurgy with experience in atomic simulation and numerical mathematics.
*Working field:*
- Atomic modelling (e.g. molecular dynamics) of irradiation induced defects in reactor materials and their influence on mechanical properties
- Computer simulation of the interaction of dislocations with irradiation defects
- Model validation using experimental data
