The IDM “Center for Security Studies” in cooperation with “United Nations Institute for Training and Research, Programme of Correspondence Instruction in Peacekeeping Operations – UNITAR POCI”, and the “Italian Center for Turkish Studies-ICTS” , is
organizing the “1st Regional Summer School on Security Studies”. Graduate (or last year graduate) & postgraduate students, researchers, practitioners and high officials of security sector institutions from the Balkans and other European countries will be invited to attend a two-week summer school in Albania and benefit from the experience and know-how of eminent international speakers – professors and
experts from US, Europe and the Balkans. The Summer School academic programme has been designed with an aim to advance security studies, research and capacities of participants in order to better understand and analyze security challenges.
