Dear Colleagues,
we would like to remind you of the registration for the VIIth European Workshop on the Molecular Biology of Cyanobacteria that is in progress at www.phycology. cz/cyano2008. The deadline for the early registration is April 30; June 15 for the late (and more expensive) registration. Abstracts should be uploaded separately also by June 15 at the latest. The participants presenting a short talk will be mostly chosen based on their submitted abstracts after June 15.
Participants can book and pay accommodation in student dormitory (close to the conference center, at moderate rates) during the online registration procedure. Other arrangements have to be made by participants independently. We recommend to book independent accommodation as soon as possible as the capacity of hotels in this time of the year might become limited.
Two excursions are planned for the participants, one on Monday evening to the Budweiser Brewery, the second is a post-conference excursion on Thursday to Cesky Krumlov, medieval town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The number of participants to both excursions is limited, preliminary booking should be available through the online registration at the end of this week.
Detailed travel information for the travel from the Prague airport to Ceske Budejovice and within Ceske Budejovice will be provided later.
