Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning organized on 5th September 2008 the international conference "DYACIT – Developing Young Adults Creativity through Information technologies" .
The conference wishes to offer all the interested factors the opportunity to get to know the results of the activities within the project with the same name that has been carried out within the European programme Socrates-Minerva by the 6 partner organizations from 5 countries (Romania, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy and Austria) under the coordination of Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning.
The main objective of the project has been to create an attractive learning environment in which young people in risk of being "early school leavers" could develop their creative talent in close cooperation with their European counterparts, through the means of communication technologies (Internet).
Specific objectives:
- Improving the attractiveness of learning for the target group;
- Expressing creativity by means of photography, using the Information and
Communication Technology in learning process;
- Learning English as a means of communication with other European young people;
- Facilitating social integration of young adults, according to their own aspirations;
- Exchange of good practices in the field of education.
The main outputs of the project are: curricula for workshops (English, Adobe Photoshop and Photography), creative lab (training workshops), communication platform - http://www.srep. ro/dyacit/ platform/ , website of the project-
http://www.srep. ro/dyacit, good practices guide (in English, Romanian, Italian, German and Bulgarian), internal and external evaluation.
People who are interested are invited to register for participation to the conference as well as to present papers on themes related to:
• Education of young people with the help of ICT
• eLearning and Educational Software for young people and adults
• Innovative methods for learning foreign languages with the help of ICT

There is no participation fee for this conference. The lunch and coffee break are offered by the organizers in catering system. The travel and accommodation expenses are not covered, they are in the charge of participants.

Sending the final paper: 15th August 2008
