Postdoc position in single photon source / detector, South Korea

There is an immediate opening for post doc position in Semiconductor Nano Device Laboratory (SNDL) in the field single photon source/detector based on quantum bots using GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures.

We are involved in following research areas: high electron mobility transistors (HEMT) based on GaAs and GaN, transport phenomena in two dimension electron gas (2DEG), nano device fabrication, electrical characterization of nano-particles and DNA, THz devices based on LT-GaAs, Growth of superlattices and Quantum Cascaded Lasers (QCL) using Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE).

We are seeking a strongly motivated candidate with specialization in experimental condensed matter physics. The candidate should have knowledge of photoluminescence at low temperatures and other optical analytical skills. The candidate will have access to the state-of-art facilities in the laboratory. Experience of working in clean room will be appreciated but not required.

The candidates with background in other areas of optics are also strongly encouraged to apply for this position. We welcome fresh candidates with interest in our field who have potentials to work in different areas of condensed matter physics.

The position is expected to begin immediately.

Application

Interested candidates should submit a detailed CV. Please include the details (email address, phone, FAX) of three experts whom, if contacted, can give a better judgment about your skills.
