Postdoctoral Fellowship - Mathematial Cryptology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway

A postdoctoral fellowship position is available at the Department of Mathematical Sciences (IMF), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The grant, which is for up to three years, is funded by the Research Council of Norway through the VERDIKT programme.

The candidate will work on security and privacy in digital infrastructures. A central topic will be methods and techniques for design and analysis of security protocols, especially for mobile phone networks. The applicants should have a PhD in cryptology and a strong mathematical background, or a PhD in mathematics related to cryptography.

Benefits: The appointment is at code 1352, salary level 57-76 in the national salary scheme, gross NOK 435 500 - 625 900 per annum, of which 2% is deducted for the State Pension scheme. Starting salary expected to be at level 57, gross NOK 435 500 per year.

Application

The appointment will be made in accordance with current regulations. The successful applicant must agree to the conditions laid down for public employees. Candidates must sign a contract regulating the starting date and duration of employment.
