Call for Institutional Support for Open Access Journal

The Journal of Power Institutions in Post-Soviet Societies

CALL for Institutional support for open access journal

Dear pipss.org readers,

Please accept my warmest wishes for a very happy holiday season.

Over the past four years, the Journal of Power Institutions in Post-Soviet Societies, http://www.pipss. org , has made a major contribution to the understanding of post-Soviet societies, post-Soviet armies and power ministries. Eight issues (comprising articles, book reviews, bibliographies) and two books(1) related to two of those issues have been published.

The choice of an on-line publication has reduced substantially a large part of the traditional costs (printing, mailing costs…). Nevertheless, administrative constraints remain. And to guaranty the perenniality of such a project, experience has shown that it is essential to have a secretariat.

Therefore we would like to create a consortium to support the online open access publication of pipss.org.

Any proposals or queries in this regard should be sent to the Chief editor Elisabeth Sieca-Kozlowski (contact@pipss. org).

Payment Instructions: All contributions should be accompanied with a covering letter addressed to the Chief editor, Elisabeth Sieca-Kozlowski, pipss.org, 15 rue Charlot, 75003 Paris, France, stating that a payment is being made to support the publication of the Journal of Power Institutions in Post-Soviet Societies (Pipss.org).

For contributions within France: The amount may be transferred or deposited in the name of "CERSIPS”, Le Crédit Lyonnais, Paris Rambuteau (00407), account number 9650F, clé 71. Your contribution is tax-deductible (over 50 euros) to the fullest extent of the law (60%). We will provide you with a CERFA certificate upon request.

For foreign contributions: The amount should be payable to "CERSIPS”, IBAN: FR22 3000 2004 0700 0000 9650 F71, BIC: CRLYFRPP, Le Crédit Lyonnais, 14 rue Rambuteau, Paris 75003, France.

Your support will make it possible for us to continue to provide you with thorough studies of changes and their underlying mechanisms in post-Soviet republics, through the analysis of the institutions that remain most hidden from the public eye: armies and power institutions.

Sincerely,

Elisabeth Sieca-Kozlowski

Chief Editor
