JOB: Project Coordinator - Greenpeace Romania [DL: 31 ian]

Greenpeace in Romania is looking for a

Project Coordinator (for environmental campaigns)

(located in Bucharest, 40h/week, permanent contract)

You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of environmental campaigns, most of them related to climate protection and energy.

This includes the following main tasks:

* Doing research / investigation
* Set campaign goals, strategy and tactics
* Creating campaign plans and proposals
* Project management
* Lobbying (high level contacts in politics, in authorities, economy and in the NGO scene)
* Non-violent direct action/demonstratio n planning
* Press work
* Writing of publications
* Implementation of any other campaign related work (incl. web)
* Provide leadership to the involved people (staff & volunteers)
* Involvement of activists/volunteer s in the campaigns

Requirements:
* University degree (Master, PhD is a plus)
* Project coordination/ management/ leadership experience at least 3 years
* NGO or non-profit experience is a plus
* Knowledge about the political and economic system in Romania and EU
* Commitment to work for the environment
* Identification with Greenpeace principles (including actions)
* Good communication skills, including interest to speak in front of media
* Conflict management skills
* Team player
* Romanian language: native-speaker level
* Fluent written and spoken English
* Computer literacy: MS Office, PowerPoint
