American Society for Cell Biology Image and Video Library

Dear all,

The Image & Video Library (IVL) of The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) is a collection of peer-reviewed cell images, video clips, and digitized texts that illustrate the structure, function and biology of the cell, the fundamental unit of life.

The library is a collection of peer-reviewed still images and dynamic videos of the highest quality that will cover the field of cell biology in a comprehensive manner.

We invite contributions from all cell biologists who wish to publish high quality images and videos on this site. Submissions will be peer-reviewed. If accepted for publication, we will ask for a non-exclusive, royalty free license. Contributors will remain the owners of the copyrights and will be able to continue to use their images as they see fit, including the granting of additional non-exclusive licenses.

Access to the library is free and open for non-commercial educational and research uses. Users can download any and all images and videos for non-commercial purposes. Commercial users will be charged a fee - please contact us for additional details.

The Image & Video Library is published by The American Society for Cell Biology, a professional association composed of more than 11,000 cell biologists world-wide.
