Job description:

The assignment consists of lecturing duties, scientific research and service to society. During the first period of (maximum) ten years, scientific research will be the main activity.

once appointed, the successful candidate is to establish a vigorous research program in mass spectroscopy of biomolecules (with special focus on proteins, functional and high throughput proteomics and LC-MS

the candidate is expected to play a leading role in the core facility proteomics (CEPROMA), to implement novel techniques, acquire external funding (national and international) and establish international and industrial collaborations
teaching duties will be minimal in the first ten years, involving a theoretical and practical course in chemistry and proteomics.

Profile and requirements:

PhD in a discipline of “ Science” with at least 6 years of postdoctoral experience in contemporary mass spectrometry of biomolecules and proteomics. The CV should document the international excellence (publications, fund raising, collaborations, organization of workshops etc.)
