AUN/SEED-Net announced the Doctoral Degree Program in Singapore for FY2007, with additional scholarships from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
The program offers upto 13 scholarships to study at the two universities; 10 to NTU and 3 to NUS. Successful candidates could study in any engineering fields offered by NTU and NUS with the duration of 4 years. Please be reminded that if the scholars do not obtain a degree eventually, the research fees and the stipend received must be paid back.

Increased Quota for PhD in Singapore
Good news! NUS increased quota for PhD Program in Singapore from 3 to 10 scholarships, effective from FY2007.
National University of Singapore (NUS) approved 7 more scholarships offered under the AUN/SEED-Net Doctoral Degree Program in Singapore, making the total quota of this program 20 scholarships i.e. 10 from NUS and 10 from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Interested applicants must submit application packages to AUN/SEED-Net via Contact Person at their Sending Institutions within 15 February 2007.

AUN/SEED-Net Announced 3 Programs for FY2007: Master's, PhD Sandwich, and Short-Term Study in Japan
AUN/SEED-Net announced 3 programs recently: the Master's Degree Program, the Doctoral Degree Sandwich Program, and the Short-Term Study Program in Japan. All programs are for studying in the Japanese Fiscal Year 2007 (April 2007-March 2008).
The Master's and Doctoral Degree Sandwich Programs are intended for young faculty staff or fresh graduates who wish to be staff of AUN/SEED-Net member institutions. They will be supported to study in master's or PhD level at host institutions in ASEAN countries under joint supervision of host advisors and Japanese professors. The
Doctoral Degree Sandwich Program also combine one-year research at Japanese supporting universities. Prospective applicants can find detailed guidelines and application forms at http://www.seed- net.org/applicat ion_form. html. Deadline for

The Short-Term Study Program in Japan is provided for AUN/SEED-Net doctoral sandwich students who are planning to conduct research in Japan in the fiscal year 2007. Those to go to Japan during July - November 2007 must apply for the program within November 30, 2006; those to go to Japan during December 2007 - March 2008 must apply
