Dear all,
Our Ahi Evran University Group intends to participate in the Youth Action Programmes with six different organizations in it. We suggest to all interested organizations from EU/Program Countries to collaborate with us on conducting 6 different Youth Action 1 Exchanges in Turkey in 2008. Here are some details about our projects. As seen, the details are so short, but will be sent on request.
The planned projects are all Action 1 youth exchanges. All accommodation and food costs will be covered 100 %, and travel expenses will be 70 % reimbursed according to youth in action programme regulations.
1- The name of the Project is ”Health with Spa”. It will take place in a small town called Kozakli which is famous for its spa centers. We need 5 participants + 1 leader from 5 programme countries. Working language will be English.
2- The name of the Project is “Working with the magic hands” . It will be in Akpinar, a province of Kirsehir. We aim to implement the project in summer 2008 and the language will be English. We need 5 participants + 1 leader from 5 programme countries.
3- This Project will take place in a city in Middle Anatolia called Mucur. It will be about outdoor activities and nature. We need 5 participants + 1 leader from 5 programme countries. The language will be English. The name of the Project is “Let’s protect our beautiful Nature”.
4- Next Project will be at our university called Ahi Evran. It is in Kirsehir. It will be about sports as we are planning to make it in our Faculty of Sports. We again need 5 participants + 1 leader from 5 programme countries who are interested in sports. Language is English. The name of this Project is “Youth and Sports”.
5- This Project of ours is about music and dance. We have a group called Ahi Evran Dance & Music Group and the Project will take place in Kirsehir with the help of this group. Again we will need 5 participants + 1 leader from 5 programme countries who are interested in music and dance. Language is English. This Project is called “Universal music and dance”.
6- The last project called “Peaceful Nuts” will take place in Sakarya, a big city near Ýstanbul, famous for its nuts. Helping each other in a peaceful environment is the main idea of the Project, as the people living in Sakarya had a big earthquake in 1999 and thousands of people died. We will need 5 participants + 1 leader from 5 programme countries.
After giving this brief info about our projects we would like interested organisations, groups, associations etc. to send us Part 3 forms until 25th of January since we are going to apply to our National Agency by February 1, 2008 deadline. You can participate in any of the projects. We will select all organizations by 27 January 2008 and send all an email about the selection.
Part III is attached to the letter. Please fill in the form, sign and stamp it and send us via fax on 00903867126450 and also to this address very urgently. The applications without signature and stamp will not be taken into consideration.
