International Seminar, Berlin, 29.02. - 02.03.2008
To create Europe has been the ambition of the Young European Federalists (JEF) ever since and our annual Berlin seminar provides the perfect setting to bring our European ideals to life. This time we offer you even more! You will not only meet fascinating young people from all across Europe, discuss with renowned experts in one of Europe's most vibrant cities, but you can also discover your creativity!
Therefore we invite you to join us for an exiting weekend in Berlin.
The Berlin seminar 2008 approaches the topic sustainability in a wide variety of new workshops. You can chose between proving your talent on stage, improving your writing skills (or learn the basics), or being creative in developing a European communication project.
If you prefer a more academic discussion, we will also cater for that taste and you are warmly welcomed in the fourth workshop. All workshops will be conducted by selected experts to ensure a great experience.
Yet, as always discussing, developing and working (or acting, or writing...) is only part of the experience. You will also experience genuine European spirit in ever-changing Berlin, where history and contemporary culture join for an astonishing mix. You will be accommodated in the lively district of Friedrichshain in former East-Berlin, enjoy the vivid nightlife there and get to know the splendor of Mitte first hand.
Since we have limited availability, we strongly advise you to apply as soon as possible, at latest February 17th.

Costs:
The Participation fee covers accommodation, meals and travel reimbursement.
International participants pay 50€
National participants pay 40€
The fee is to be paid in advance by money transfer to conclude your application. Reasonable exceptions may be granted upon request. Do not transfer the fee before you received a confirmation mail from us.
Travel reimbursement:
On the condition of receiving your original tickets together with our travel reimbursement forms, we can reimburse
International participants approximately up to 120€ of actual costs
National participants approximately up to 80€ of actual costs
Please fill in the online application at http://www.berlin08 .jef.de/ . If you need a visa (outside Schengen-agreement) , please give us all necessary information, as visas can take considerable time.
