CfP: Case studies: Best practices of diversity management

Dear colleagues,

Within the MIRICO project (Human and Minority Rights in the Life Cycle of Ethnic Conflict, www.eurac.edu/ mirico) we are currently developing a manual on diversity management that should include examples of best practices of inter-ethnic cooperation in the Western Balkans countries.

The overall objective of the MIRICO is to analyse the status of human and minority rights in all phases of ethnic conflicts, as well as in the phase of reconstruction and reconciliation. As a parallel process the project will examine the development of EU foreign policy and its shift from reactive crisis management to regional stabilisation and association with the prospect of full EU-membership.

Shall you or your organization be aware of the successfully completed or on-going projects that have improved inter-ethnic relations on the ground, please send short descriptions of project results to antonija petricusic@uni- graz.at by August 15, 2008. The manual will in this way also serve as a medium for dissemination of your project results, reaching the students, academics and decision makers interested in human and minority rights in the Western Balkans.

Thank you very much in advance,

Antonija Petricusic
