The successful candidate will join an ongoing research project focused on defining the role of intrinsic regulators of the immune system on chronic intestinal inflammation and its long-term complications (i.e. tumorigenesis and fibrosis). This project is based on a variety of established animal models using genetically manipulated mice.
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D., M.D., or both, with prior training in intestinal immunology including expertise in state-of-the- art techniques of immunology and molecular biology.
