As an international student, you may qualify for the ISCP scholarship! This award offers up tp $9,000 per academic year ($3,000 per term, excluding summer term) toward nonresident tuition at SOU. The ISCP scholarship lasts the entire length of the degree program, provided the recipient maintains good visa and academic status. Students are responsible for the remainder of tuition and for all other costs of
attendance, including fees, room and board, books, insurance, and travel, as well as incidentals and personal costs.
As part of the scholarship program, recipients provide eighty hours of cultural service consisting of presentations on country and culture to local schools and other groups.
ISCP selection criteria are as follows:
* academic merit (minimum 2.75 GPA for undergraduate and 3.0 GPA for graduate students)
* demonstrated financial need
* excellent spoken English, strong presentation skills, and ability to represent your country
* geographical balance is a factor in awarding scholarships
*International Student Scholarship (ISS)*
The ISS is an award of up to $6,000 per academic year ($2,300 per term, excluding summer term) toward nonresident tuition at SOU. Students are responsible for the remainder of tuition and for all other costs of attendance, including fees, room and board, books, insurance, and travel, as well as incidentals and personal costs. This award is for a single academic year. Students are encouraged to re-apply each year.
