A worldwide event for young people aged 11-21
The world just got smaller!
Take photos of your life, win brilliant prizes (digital cameras, iPods, Nike watches and more) and have your photos exhibited at Association of Photographers gallery in London, UK.
Show us your world through photos...
You will be given a brief on the 24th July to take 5 photographs along the theme of 'Journeys'.
You upload these pictures between 24th - 31st July to www.shorething.org.uk and a team of judges will choose the best photos in various categories.
For more info go to www.shorething.org.uk
You can take part in the competition wherever you are and you will have a week to take photographs; one photo a day or five photos in an hour. The website is in many languages and we are still getting some more translations done so the website is very accessible.
If PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD OUT. If you are a young person, please tell your friends; if you are young at heart, please encourage young people and organisations to participate; if you are a youth organisation, please inform your young people; if you are a community/voluntary organisation, please let your users know about the project.
Let’s make this year’s International Youth Day a roaring success together! Let’s shoot!
Thanks!
P.S: if you know anyone who can translate the website text to Arabic for free of charge, please let us know immediately.
