The ESF Research Conferences Scheme is a high-level conference programme in partnership with national and international organizations, including universities. The Scheme provides the opportunity for the world’s leading scientists and other participants, including young researchers, to meet in an informal setting for discussions at the highest level on the most recent developments in their fields of research. Furthermore, it will act as a catalyst for creating new synergistic contacts throughout Europe and the rest of the world. The conferences may be series or single events. They will be interdisciplinary when appropriate. The duration will normally be four or five days and up to 150 invited speakers and participants may attend.
A Call for Proposals is now open for conferences (single events) which will take place in 2008. The Call is addressed to leading European scientists for Symposia to take place in Europe.
Deadline for on-line submission of proposals: 2 October 2006 (midnight CET)
Before submitting a Proposal, please read the ’Conferences/Symposia Guidelines’ carefully and then follow the procedures laid down in ’How to Submit Proposals for...’. Both these documents can be found under each section.
