New Possibilities for Higher education institutions to become involved in
partnerships under the Erasmus Mundus programme
The higher education institutions former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonian have the possibility to co-apply for partnerships under Erasmus Mundus, with a group of higher education institutions (called the "consortium" ), which shall consists as a minimum of higher education institutions coming from three different Member States, EEA-EFTA states.

The students of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonian have the possibility to apply for Scholarships for the academic year 2008/2009. Approximate application deadline is January/February 2008 (deadline varies from one course to another).
Towards the end of 2007, the European Commission adopted a financing decision which allows for the possibility of awarding a limited number of scholarships (Action 2) for nationals from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia who submit their applications to Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses selected under Action 1 for academic year 2008/2009.

Please note that Erasmus Mundus Masters consortia have been informed about additional funds available for former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia nationals. If a consortium gives options for different type of applications (for EU applicants or third-country applicants) nationals from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia should apply as 'third country applicants'.
The interested candidates should apply directly to the relevant Erasmus Mundus Masters consortium. The guidelines for submission of applications as well as the deadlines for the submission of applications can be found on web-pages of individual Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses

The deadline for candidates' application varies from one individual Masters Courses to the other (deadlines are set between January or February of 2008), while the final deadline for the Erasmus Mundus Masters consortia to submit the lists of potential grantees is 28 February 2008. Please check attentively and follow the exact deadline of the master course in which you are interested.
