For the past few months you have enjoyed the news and experiences shared by different young people from the United Kingdom and Southeast European countries. I hope that all our efforts proved useful and offered you various opportunities to get in touch with interesting people and read about diverse experiences.

Now is YOUR turn to be part of your journalists’ team and let us know more about YOUR stories:

Have you recently organized or taken part in any challenging program or educational project?

Would you like to recommend it to other interested young people so that they could also benefit?

Are you going to a summer school, seminar or training in these countries in the next summer months? Have you decided to learn a Southeast European language or to improve your English knowledge through a special course or certificate preparation?

Let us know about it! Share your stories with us, we want to hear and read them.

Things to be covered in your articles should be:

Why did you choose that particular event? What attracted you?
Where did you get the information? How was the application process?
Was the participation useful? Why?

We would also like you to send us contact details (e-mail and website) for the organisation which organised the event, or whose programme you took part in.

Your articles should have a minimum of 1000 words and have two photos attached to it. The deadline is 1 August, so hurry up!

The most creative responses will be rewarded with 5 copies of “The Sea” by John Banville, winner of the Man Booker Prize 2005.”A gentle, slow-moving, sometimes whimsical study of love, loss, grief, belonging and the ageing process, as a recent widower returns to a seaside village where he enjoyed a holiday in his younger years.”

The Education Section welcomes any ideas and suggestions and wishes you good luck in the exam sessions in all high-schools and universities across the region ;-)
