Global Xchange is a-18-25-year-old-volunteers exchange programme, which gives young people from different countries a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share valuable skills and to make a practical contribution where it is needed in local communities. For 6 months the volunteers will be paired up with counterparts from UK. They will live and work for 3 months in a community in the UK and for 3 months in a community in Indonesia.

Only short listed candidates will be given an official notification from the British Council. Those who are selected will be invited to attend the Assessment Days which will be held between 17–24 July 2006 in Makassar.
