The Peninsula Medical School and the Postgraduate Peninsula Health Institute together with their parent Institutions, the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, are seeking to attract PhD candidates of outstanding ability to join their exciting and rapidly expanding programme of internationally rated research.
As part of our new developments and our commitment to research excellence, applications are invited from potential and recent, suitably qualified graduates, 2:1 or above, for 16 full-time PhD studentships.
Stipends vary slightly, see website http://www.pms.ac.uk/pms/school/jobs.php for the list of Studentships and Stipends, but will be at least the MRC current rates of £12300 for 2006. Tuition fees will be paid at the home rate. Candidates from
countries outside the European Union will be liable for the difference between 'home student fees' and 'foreign student fees'.
