CfP ADA IV September 18-20 2006, (Université de Provence Aix-Marseille I, France)

Held each year in a different hosting astronomical institute, the ADA conference series are focused on algorithms, signal and data processing. The program includes invited and contributed talks as well as posters.

After successful space missions and for coming missions, Terabytes of astrophysical data will be available. The analysis of these data needs a tremendous amount of time and knowledge in terms of signal and data processing. Moreover, most of signal and image processing have to deal with incompleteness and noise. Based on new developments in data processing, image recognition, image processing, the ADA IV conference will be focused on space missions and data reconstruction. Processing Algorithms for data from space missions: Incompleteness, Noise and calibrations.
Invited speakers:
-Laurent Demanet - Caltech (USA) - Analysis: The Fast 2D and 3D Curvelet Transform
-Enrique Martinez-Gonzalez -Instituto de Fisica de Cantabria (Spain) - CMB-Large Galaxy Survey : Cross-Correlations in Real Wavelet Spaces
-Vicent Martinez -Observatori Astronomic, Universitat de Valencia - Genus, Spatial Distribution of Galaxies
-Jean-Francois Hochedez - Royal Observatory of Belgium (Belgium) - Optical Flow for solar EUV image sequences
-Laure Blanc-Feraud -I3S Laboratory -INRIA- France - Inverse problems
