Professorship in “Roman History, Antiquarian Studies and Epigraphy” (University of Vienna, Austria)

The successful candidate is expected to have outstanding scientific reputation and must be able to show a proven ability in the fields of roman history, antiquarian studies and epigraphy by distinguished publications.

Continuation and further development of the institute’s (http://www.univie.ac.at/alte-geschichte/Kurzprofil.htm) and the faculty’s (http://www.univie.ac.at/dekanat-hist-kult/ep_histkult.pdf) research programs are expected. Furthermore, the successful candidate must have the ability and willingness to teach the full load in diploma, bachelor, master, secondary school teacher accreditation and doctoral programs, mainly in German language.
