PhD Studentship Operations Management Division – Business Modelling/Simulation

A research post and a PhD studentship are being offered in the Operations Management Division at Nottingham University Business School for a successful research programme supported by the Ford Motor Company and Nottingham's Innovative Manufacturing Research Centre. The research is examining the design and performance of order fulfilment systems and offers opportunities to investigate new approaches in areas such as production planning, revenue management, and stakeholder modelling. The research requires skills in data analysis, simulation and modelling. Support will be given to extend research skills and in the use of analytical tools.

This fully funded three year PhD studentship will work on a theme within the research programme. Students should have an appreciation of the discipline of operations management and a foundation in quantitative data analysis and modelling techniques.
