Arnold F. Graves Post-Doctoral Scholar in Higher Education Organisation and Policy
The Centre for Social and Educational Research (CSER) at DIT co-ordinates research of public and policy relevance. To further its development, the CSER wishes to appoint a Post Doctoral Scholar to help develop a research agenda that will address questions of strategic and policy concern to the future of higher education in Ireland and internationally. The successful candidate will have research publications and interest in one of the following themes:
Higher education and the needs of the knowledge society;
Higher education and the achievement of equity and social justice;
Higher Education relationships with the wider community and between institutions;
Steering and governance of Higher Education;
Differentiation and diversity of institutional forms and professional roles.
Successful candidates will have a proven record of research and research management, experience obtaining significant competitive research income at national, EU and/or international level, strong educational and project management skills.
