Description of the International Training Course "Let's create new Model of Youth Participation" :
The main themes of TC: Youth Participation, Active Citizenship, Social inclusion and Equal opportunities. This training course is about helping youth workers to develop sustainable youth work programmes directed towards developing competencies of young people, needed for active participation and citizenship in the society. It's about creating direction for youth work more clearly, strategically planned and based on needs of young people. The training course that will be implemented in aims to increase understanding of youth workers about active youth participation both in youth work and in the decision making processes. The participants of the training will learn how youth critical thinking can be developed through youth projects and will try to develop creative and attractive ways of citizenship education through the youth work.

The working approach
The Training will focus on different methods using non-formal education in working with key concepts. The programme of the course will be conducted using an interactive and participative approach. A team of experienced trainers will design and carry out the programme of the course, based on the experiences, needs and knowledge of the participants. Active participation, group-work and teamwork, as well as theoretical inputs will characterise the programme of the course. The programme of the training is developed in a way that allows an exchange of realities and problems faced by young people in relation to youth participation. It also seeks to explore the reality and the relevance of the concept of youth policy in the work for youth participation.

Participant' s profile:
Applicants must be from Europe (COE countries, Belarus and Montenegro). Participation from Easter/South- Eastern Europe and Baltic is especially encouraged. 28 youth workers (aged between 18 and 35), who are already involved and active in local and national associations, community organisations, youth clubs, youth councils and youth initiatives. Youth workers, youth leaders, trainers and multipliers with certain experience in Youth Activities and a strong wish to improve the quality of their ongoing or future project
All participants selected for this course must be:
 Be from COE countries, priority countries: Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Azerbaijan
 The training course will bring together experienced and active youth leaders/workers and governmental representatives from all partners country
All participants selected for this course must be:
 Youth leaders/workers in a position of responsibility in(INGYOs), (NYCs), national or local youth organisations, actively and directly involved in youth participation projects at local or regional level.
 Actively and directly involved in youth participation projects at local, regional or other levels, or in charge of youth participation within their organisation
 Motivated in developing further youth participation projects and to act as multiplier after the training
 Interested in working with the revised European Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life as a tool to promote youth participation
 Able to work in English
 Be in position of multiplying the outcomes of training
 Be willing to participate actively – including carrying out preparation work prior to the training
 Be available to participate in all days
 Aged between 18 and 30 years (with exceptions)
