CfA: Social Psychology Doctoral workshop, Bremen

Dear European Social Psychology PhD students,

it is our pleasure to announce the PhD students workshop/Doktorande nworkshop '*SoDoc2010* ' has been scheduled to take place from June 24 to June 27, 2010 in *Bremen*, Germany.

The SoDoc meeting is designed as an annual consultation possibility for PhD students in Social Psychology mainly from institutes and departments in German-speaking countries. However, the workshop will be also open for a number of international students. So if you are enrolled in any PhD program in Europe; feel free to apply! The workshop language will, naturally, be *English*.

The aim of the workshop is to provide an opportunity to present your ongoing PhD project and preliminary data and to receive feedback from fellow graduate students as well as from experienced teachers. The graduate students will work in three workshops that are moderated by one of three teachers, each experts in their fields. Additionally, the three teachers will each give a keynote address. An open question-and- answer session with the three teachers will round off the program. These
workshops offer ample opportunities to get to know other PhD students and their work, to build networks, to develop new research ideas, and - of course - to enjoy ourselves.

The workshop will be organized at Jacobs University Bremen, within the institutional structure of the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences. Accommodation (at a low cost) will be offered on the Jacobs University campus, so in addition of offering you a stimulating academic program, you will get the opportunity to get a unique peek into life at an international university.

A website with more detailed information on the program and registration process, will be launched *early 2010*, so stay tuned to this mailinglist for the announcement. Additionally, you can follow us on Twitter (*SoDocBremen* ) if you want to keep up to date of the latest developments.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Looking forward to seeing you in Bremen,

Jens Hinrich Hellmann, David Schiefer and Marieke van Egmond
