This includes work on finite element modeling and computational fluid dynamics as well as experimental determination of material properties. Applicants should be highly self-motivated, have a strong background in mechanical modelling and have good team working capabilities. PhD students will take part in the LOEWE seminar series
and graduate programme. They will benefit from the multidisciplinarity of the network combining life sciences with computational engineering.
