Post-doctoral Position Neurodegeneration, Edmonton, Canada

A post-doctoral position is available to study the MECHANISMS OF NEURODEGENERATION IN HUNTINGTON'S DISEASE.

Eligible candidates will be involved in an exciting area of research with clinical relevance. The project will be developed with a multidisciplinary approach involving the use of biochemical, molecular and cell biology techniques.

Previous experience in confocal microscopy and/or molecular biology, lipid and protein biochemistry would be an advantage but it would not be essential.

Preferred starting date: January/February 2010

Eligibility Requirements: qualified applicants should have a PhD or Specialty Degree in related areas, demonstrated research productivity and no more than 3 years of post-doctoral experience.
