Post-Doc Position (TVL-E13) in Molecular Immunology/Signal Transduct

Project description: On March 13th, 2006 the anti-human CD28 superagonistic antibody TGN1412 was applied to six healthy volunteers in the course of a phase I clinical study. Completely unexpectedly, the antibody caused a massive and live threatening cytokine storm in all six volunteers whose molecular basis is still not completely understood. The project aims at elucidating the signalling properties of anti-human CD28 superagonistic antibodies by applying cell biology, molecular and biochemical techniques.
