The awards are funded by the ERS. They enable qualified doctors and respiratory investigators to carry out specific research and clinical projects or to obtain training in a clinical or research unit in another European country.
Short-term fellowships
Are you are interested in funding for a Short Term Training or Research Fellowship but don't want to wait until next year? If yes then the ERS Short Term Fellowships are for you. Our Short Term Fellowships are designed to comply with the subsistence rates and there are three deadlines per year to submit applications. Answers can be expected two months after submission deadline. It simply is the fastest and easiest way to carry out research and training in 2005.
ERS/AIMAR (Italy) joint short term fellowships are now also possible (four Short Term fellowships per year) The candidate might be from Italy going to another European country or from Europe or overseas going to Italy. To apply for a joint fellowship with AIMAR, you should use the same online application form than for any other ERS fellowship application. In addition you should send a copy of the application to AIMAR, along with the cover letter (to be downloaded from the online application). AIMAR will review the application and if selected will send a recommendation form to the ERS.
