Electronic Arts is hiring:


1. QA Tester - Mobile Games ( Night Shift)

Your primary duties will include full functionality testing of pre-release games, as well as reporting and verifying game defects using our project databases. The QA Tester will be responsible for testing pre-release mobile games and verifying functionality, data content, performance, usability/playability and platform compatibility. This is a full-time position available in the night shift (6 PM - 1:30 AM).

Requirements:

• Solid PC knowledge, as well as being familiar with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)

2. ET Software Engineer:

As Software Engineer - Enabling Technologies at the Company, you will report to the Sr. Software Engineer and will be responsible for the design and development of J2EE-based mobile content management, provisioning, billing, and data analysis applications and defining development processes. This offer is for a full-time position located at the offices of the Company, except as travel to other locations may be necessary to fulfill your responsibilities.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of professional experience with J2EE software/application programming
• 1+ years of professional experience within mobile gaming industry preferred
• Experience with database schema design, Oracle and JDBC, Hibernate, Struts/Spring, source control and build software such as CVS, SVN, and ANT.
• Proficiency in Java and C/C++
• Practical development and production experience with the wireless industry and development environment as they pertain to mobile phones (J2ME, BREW, Symbian, Smartphone, etc.) preferred
• A bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Thorough knowledge of software design concepts, such as object-oriented programming, common design patterns/algorithms, and development lifecycles.


3. Software Engineer( Mobile Games)

The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing prototype applications, deploying existing games across multiple platforms and writing server/client-side code for internet-based applications to distribute wireless products.

Proficiency in Java and C/C++ is required. You should have a passion for programming games and a working knowledge of at least one related domain: artficial intelligence, game physics, computer graphics or various game tools. Demos are a big plus.

Expertise in mobile application development environments (J2ME, BREW, Symbian, Smartphone, etc.) is a plus.
This offer is for a full-time position located at the offices of the Company, except as travel to other locations may be necessary to fulfill your responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• At least 2 years experience with C++ or Java
• Working knowledge of at least one domain of game programming: computer graphics, artificial intelligence, game physics or game tools.
• Student (at least 3rd year) or graduate in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Desired Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of software design concepts, such as object-oriented programming, common design patterns/algorithms, and development lifecycles.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement working systems from new APIs and software platforms
