USA: Scolarship at Monterey Institute of International Studies, California

Monterey Institute of International Studies, the graduate school for international careers

Located in Monterey, California, the Monterey Institute was founded in 1955 with a mission of improving international understanding through education in languages, cross-cultural communications and a detailed study of the complex relations between nations and peoples. In 2005, the Monterey Institute became an affiliate of Middlebury College.

In its first five decades, the Institute has grown to become a unique and irreplaceable training ground for professionals in specialized fields crucial to the international community. Our graduates go forth to become diplomats, negotiators, business leaders, language teachers, translators and interpreters, and other key players in today’s global environment. No other institution of higher learning covers the same ground or turns out a more important cadre of trained professionals.

If you are interested in making a difference, taking on today's global challenges, and working to create a better world, then the Monterey Institute offers you exciting opportunities to do so. We invite you to learn more about the Institute's purpose, programs and future, and welcome your questions and suggestions.
