Research/teaching bursaries, tenable for a period of four years, are available to support full-time study towards a PhD, as well as teaching development within the School. Applications are welcomed from graduates who have, or expect to obtain a good degree of 2.1 or above in social science and management-related disciplines, who wish to develop research and teaching interests in the following academic area
in the school:
Operations Management
The annual value of the bursary is expected to be around £18,000. The general conditions of the bursaries are similar to Research Council Studentships, but are enhanced to embrace teaching and further professional development. This includes maintenance, home tuition fees, around £2000 for the required contribution to teaching in the School, and £500 to support sundry research expenses.
