The studentship will begin September 2006 and will be for four years; one year Master of Research (Business and Management) plus 3 years PhD. Students complete the Master of Research during the first year of doctoral training, unless exempted by previous (equivalent) approved study. Progression to PhD follows on from a recommendation from the Master of Research Programme Board. A stipend of £13,500 per annum is payable during the first year of training and this will rise in subsequent years in line with research council rates.

Applicants should have (or hope to gain) a first or 2:1 honours degree or a Masters degree in an appropriate discipline.
