The School of History wishes to make an appointment to an Academic Fellowship in Modern Ottoman History (from the 16th century to the present). Under this scheme,
funded by the joint Research Councils, the post will provide for a five year Research Fellowship, with a guarantee of a permanent position to follow on the
teaching staff in the School of History at St Andrews. This position is available from 1 April 2007, or as soon as possible thereafter. You will show evidence of
outstanding promise in their research career to date, and significant plans for research and publishing for the five years of the Fellowship.
* Salary is subject to confirmation under the new Framework Agreement.
Salary - £26,915 - £32,137 pa
