Dear organisations,
One of the main problems of the European Voluntary Service is unsatisfactory number of placements (short-term and long-term), which can host disabled volunteers. Sending organisations often face obstacles when searching for a project for disabled volunteer. Hosting organisations find difficulties in meeting special needs of the volunteers and are often afraid to take up the responsibility to host physically disabled person. In the opinion of many, matching sending and hosting organisations is rarely effective and often time consuming.
To facilitate contacts between organizations that are involved in work with people with physical disabilities and to encourage them to start new EVS projects together, the Polish National Agency of the Youth Programme in cooperation with the Finnish National Agency of the Youth Programme are pleased to invite you to the:
