Workshop on the End of the Social: For the memory of JEAN BAUDRILLARD

Dear All,

We are glad to announce that the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in collaboration with the Mimar Sinan University is organizing a workshop/conference on the End of the Social for the memory of Jean Baudrillard. We thought of coming together to discuss in a workshop on the debated issues of globalization, governance, governmentality, modernity, postmodernity, culture, soft power, hard power, and cosmopolitanism. We would appreciate if you could also participate in the debate. The debate will be taking place at Kustepe Campus (BS) on the 11th of May, 2007. Please do not hesitate to disseminate this program to your students and collegues. Looking forward to meeting you there.

Kind regards
