Graduate Assistantships at Idaho State University

Idaho State University is a public university with a student enrollment of over 14,000 students. More than 2,000 of these are students pursuing studies in one of our 50 master's and 13 doctoral degree programs from the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Kasiska Health Professions, Pharmacy, and Technology. ISU confers approximately 370 degrees per year in certificate programs and master's, doctoral, and educational specialist degrees.

There are about 250 Graduate Assistantships available for the entire university; most of these require serving as an instructor for a department.

Full-time GAs are expected to work up to 20 hours/week for their stipend.

Contact departmental chair or graduate program directors for application materials.

Normally, graduate assistants are involved in classroom instruction, supervision of laboratory sections, grading papers and/or examinations, assisting faculty members in research activities, or other equivalent duties.
