The topic: "Sovereignty in a globalizing world"
Place: Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Period: 11th-16th of January 2008
The conference will be structured as follows:
1. A first part lead by international and national academic speakers and people who held or are in the present in charge of institutions, governmental bodies that involve dealing with international and foreign affairs. The speakers will elaborate on the concepts of sovereignty and globalisation ad other related concepts involved by the theme of the conference.
2. A second part dedicated to panels, debates and roundtables focused on different thematic areas related to the main theme. During these meetings, participants will have the opportunity to present their papers referring to the topic of the conference.
The deadline for applications is 15th of December 2007
The results will be made public by the 17th of December 2007.
Participation fee:
-70 Euro - including accommodation, food for the whole conference, official dinner, conference materials, trip to SIBIU- the cultural European capital, + a lot of fun.
- 50 Euro- if you submit a paper on the related topics topic (see on the website)
