Postdoc - Cartilage Tissue Engineering Research - Columbia University, USA

Seeking a postdoctoral researcher interested in cartilage tissue engineering research in the Cellular Engineering Laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University.Funded research focuses on interdiscplinary research aimed at tissue engineering of articular cartilage and cartilage tissue allograft preservation.

Current projects span basic science studies of chondrocyte/cartilage mechanobiology, physical regulation,to in vivo studies assessing clinical outcome of implanted engineered constructs. Ideally, the candidate will be experienced with cell and tissue culture techniques and quantitative analyses.Experience with biomechanics and biomaterials would be desirable.
