Postdoctoral Fellow in Latin American Studies - Brandeis University, USA

The Department of History and the Latin American and Latino Studies Program invite applications for a two-year, non-renewable Florence Levy Kay Postdoctoral Fellowship in Latin American History beginning Fall 2009. Ph.D. must be in hand by commencement of fellowship. The Fellow, who will be appointed as a faculty member at the rank of lecturer, will teach one course per semester: one course each year will be the colonial or modern half of the Latin American History survey, the second may be on any aspect of Latin American and Latino Studies.

The Fellow will actively pursue his or her own research interests with the support of an $8,000 research fund. Salary is $53,732 in 2009-10, plus benefits and up to $1,500 in moving expenses.
