Postdoctoral Research Position - Applied Mathematics (Biology) - Ecole Normale Superieure, France

The Department of Biology and Applied Mathematics invites candidate applications for a postdoctoral position at the Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS) in Paris, France. The position is for two academic years and the research area concerns modeling cellular biology. The term of appointment is expected to begin any time after October 1, 2008.

Applicants for this position are expected to have a PhD and should have demonstrated excellence in research, preferentially in fields such as statistical physics, applied mathematics or probabilities. The work requires high-grade knowledge in stochastic processes, statistical physics and numerical simulations.
