Reforming the UN to Meet the MDGs, New York and Geneva

International Symposium – United Nations, New York April 25-27, 2006 Co-sponsored by the United Nations University - New York Office "The Architects of the Future: Reforming the UN to Meet the MDGs"

The symposium will convene at the United Nations, New York and will involve 400 young professionals, diplomats, and students from world Universities and Colleges. The three-day event will discuss the proposed UN reform and its importance for meeting the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Scholarships are available for the top ten (10) participants who display individual determination, signify collective accomplishments, and produce the most notable post-symposium position papers. The best-three (3) participants out of the ten (10) will be rewarded with scholarships in the form of an all expenses paid trip to be part of a delegation at ATHGO International's summit at UN's European Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The scholarships valued $10,000 (US) are to be used only for the advancement of career and educational aspirations of the awardees.
