Training Seminar Transnational project management

The EAEA - European Association for the Education of Adults - organises again a training seminar on transnational project management, 11-14 May 2006 in Oeiras, Portugal.

Here is the announcement:

The EAEA in cooperation with ENTRE-SERRAS, Associação de Desenvolvimento do Concelho de Pampilhosa da Serra, Portugal, organises a training seminar on transnational project management from 11 to 14 May 2006 in Oeiras, Portugal. The seminar aims at to increase capacity for transnational project management as a means of engaging a wider range of players, and thus to contribute to the quality and effectiveness of
projects in the future and to the best use of European Union funding opportunities and it aims to improve capacity for inter-cultural working and managing diversity in transnational projects. It will help to establish new contacts and to plan for
concrete projects.

The methods are practice-oriented with interactive and experienced-based training, using simulations, syndicate work, case-studies, on-line enquiries and web-based tools. Each participant will produce an action plan with objectives for putting what has been learnt into practice, including dissemination within their organisation

The training seminar will enable participants to conceive projects based on needs identification; to define target groups; to identify aims and objectives; to develop budgeting as a tool for management; and to complete application forms. Information will also be given concerning European funding programmes and their priorities.
