Course Content

Specific program taught in English (40 contact hours): seminars and lectures about selected aspects of European Integration from the perspecitve of business administration and political science (e.g. European institutions, financial markets, economics): What is the future of European Integration, what is the future of European Constitutionalism?

It seems to take more time than predicted to digest the enlargement and a growing alienation in the population of western European countries is being felt. At the same time, industry make use of the opportunities of driving down personnel cost by shifting production and increasingly R&D to eastern Europe. What are the perspectives of a business driven enlargement in the medium term? What do future decision makers have to take into account in view of the future prospects of the EU?

Target Group

Students of political science and business and professionals with interest in European Integration.
Entry requirements: a basic knowledge of German and a good or very good knowledge of English (for the German-language course: absolute beginners’ class upon request)

Course Fees

EUR 495,- (incl. EUR 130,- registration fee) in case of incoming payment before March 01, 2006,
EUR 550,- in case of later payment

Additional Information

Certificate and explanatory supplement, documentation of credits earned (transfer according to rules of the home university), access to internet and the library included in the course fee.

The university traces back to 1564 and features a baroque campus in the center of Germany’s largest natural park with lots of leisure and sports activities. Eichstätt is located north of Munich and the ideal point of departure for excursions to Bavarian and Austrian sites. The atmosphere is a unique combination of Italian baroque and Bavarian "Gemütlichkeit".
