Departmental Postgraduate Research Scholarships 2006

The Department of Economics is offering three Postgraduate Research Scholarships to new research students from September 2006. These scholarships will cover tuition fees at the home rate and a maintenance grant at approximately the same rate as the Research Councils. Holders of the scholarships, as part of their research training, may be expected to teach a maximum of 6 hours per week. The scholarships will be offered for one year in the first instance, renewable for a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
