CALL FOR TRAINING COURSE ON PCM - PROJECT CYCLE MANAGEMENT IN YOUTH PROJECTS

Dear Friends,

We EUPCM EXPERTS GROUP invite you to participate in the Training Course on “ Project Cycle Management” which will take place in Turkey (Istanbul or Ankara) in June 2007.

Project management is growing exponentially. We can imply the experiences in every part of our life. With this training course we aim to improve productivity especially in youth projects, effectively organize projects, understand the project life cycle, master the basic project management skills. This project aims at bringing together young people, workers, experts and youth leaders from Europe and program counties to introduce PCM method, an effective tool to manage a project through planning, implementation and evaluation. We are also going to discuss the issues, which are also of prime importance for youth-related matters. The seminar is planned to be a balanced mixture of both theory and case studies selected from everyday examples. We also hope to have the opportunity to exchange our experiences and create good networks that could work in the future.

Turkey–European Union Association (TURABDER) is the first non-governmental organisation that is established with presidency decision in 1987. TURABDER is a Member of “European Movement” and “Fédération Internationale des Maisons de l’Europe”–“Federation of European Houses” that plays an important role in the formation period of the European Union. The main aim of the Association is to increase the public awareness on the relations between Turkey and European Union. It contributes the integration process of Turkey to EU with its effective lobbying activities both in national and in international level. For two years, the association incorporated a project team that submits projects both to European Youth Project or Euromed Calls and to the other calls such as EU Sixth Framework Programme, CFCU Active Labor Market, Women Entrepreneurship Training Programme Project etc. “A Young View of Integration” Youth Exchange Program was held on May 9-16 together with participants from France, Hungary and Malta.
